Get to Know Angel

A talented young artist from Chicago with the hopes and dreams of making it out and traveling the world becomes a reality. Joining the international band "Calibre 50" at the age of 24 opened a new world for Angel in the Regional Mexican music industry... "It changed my life from one day to another."
Angel Saucedo is a regional Mexican artist who grew up in Chicago and at the age of 8 years old persued his dream to become someone in the music industry. Angel's passion for music grew as the years went by with the help of his family and friends. Project after project he would learn more about the business and eventually turn it into a career. Grupo Cizma was one of his first successful projects where he managed to generate over 10 million streams and become one of the hottest groups out of Chicago. "El Toro De Jalisco" is one of the songs that made them stand out from their competition, with a unique Urban Norteño touch. Angel's unique voice and style is what ultimately got him noticed by one of the biggest bands in the world, Calibre 50.
After Calibre 50 broke the news to the public about the resignation of the lead singer Eden Muñoz, they announced an official casting for two new members. Vocalist Tony Elizondo was the first member to join and eventually accordionist and vocalist, Angel Saucedo, was chosen as the final member. As a composer, singer, and musician Angel got his hands on as much as he could. He wrote over 5 songs on the album "Corridos De Alto Calibre (Vol.II)" with records like: Paso a Paso, Agarrando Vuelo, Nadie, and more. Angel finally got a taste of what it was like to be in the big leagues with Regional Mexican artists like Banda MS, Grupo Firme, Tucanes De Tijuana, Tigres Del Norte, and the list goes on.
Artists that Angel was once inspired by as a kid eventually became the people he worked with. The luxury of working with an iconic band like Calibre 50 was that they traveled all over North America & Latin America to perform at festivals, award shows, and stadiums with thousands of people. Angel had the luxury of traveling to Colombia, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Bolivia, and Guatemala where he gained more experience as an artist. "Being a part of Calibre 50 was one of the best moments of my life and i'll always cherish the time I had with them."
